Modeling and Performance Analysis of a Solar Pond Integrated with an Absorption Cooling System

چکیده

Solar ponds are characterized by high storage capacity and the ability to provide a stable continuous power source. Careful selection of extraction rate helps maintain supply temperature in range suitable for operation an absorption unit. This study proposed system which solar pond is coupled with chiller investigate resulting advantages. The cooled using water upper convective zone, ensures that limit deterioration its performance not reached eliminates need expensive cooling system. key parameters terms ambient temperature, radiation, specifications, refrigeration temperatures investigated optimize design. prediction model showed good agreement experimental results. By choosing appropriate place implement system, such as Dead Sea area, enjoys favorable climatic conditions, it was found area 3000 m2 can produce heat at 80 °C drive 126.3 kW capacity, overall COP 0.183. Based on this study, appears type feasible production, especially hot regions.
